I am going back to basics and revisiting sculptural studies of the human form. Going back through my reference library and looking at the old school art books of Loomis, Bridgeman, Gottfried Bammes as well as the more stylised stuff of Burne Hogarth
My aim is to do various studies of parts the human body over the next ten weeks starting with the torso (both male and female) - move onto studies of other parts of the body over the period.
Anyway I will start off with a Zbrush dynamesh study of the male and female torso, similar to the above (a tester from this week), which starting as Z spheres for posing. My aims are to cover dynamic poses/form as well as cover the anatomy studies. So by April 14 Th I will have covered the human body from the head to the foot, from the toes to the nose.
If anyone has forum suggestions or a constructive critique do let me know.
