The Nostromo works beautifully, now that I know where I have mapped what keys to which button.
The Bosto - is good for the price you pay and no doubt as the tech becomes more available (i.e. cheaper) more people will work this way, but it has an annoying viewing angle issue which can make things difficult to see (especially with Z Brush's dark U.I.). I am hoping that by combining it with a swing arm monitor I will be able to get a better viewing angle (s). I do like the size of the Bosto and for the price you cannot complain - if I get into the big league I can always pay for the big boys. Speaking of the big boys another unfortunate is that I cannot keep my current wacom tablet in use while using the Bosto - I do hope that that gets sorted and wacom/windows allow for sharing of the pen input - as I still prefer to use tablet over a mouse even when using a digitiser/monitor.
Below is a pic of my Z Brush doodle, yes its an alien concept sketch - once I am more comfortable with my new set-up I will get back to more traditional sculpts- So far working this way seems to give me more energy, it could be the early stages of hardware love, but it seems to free me up get me to be bit more gestural.
